Those participating should begin now to see the questions, do some research, complete the answer card and turn it in to the Chamber Office by 7 p.m. Sept. 20. The winner will be the person who correctly answers all the questions. In case of a tie, a drawing will be held. The prize vouchers will be redeemable through Dec. 31. Crayfish and Jazz Festival A Crayfish king will be named as part of the Sept. 20 Crayfish and Jazz Festival. Contestants must be between the ages of 18 and 25, prepared to share in the fun of the evening, and above all, have a good sense of humor. The winner will be named based upon their desire to complete an entry form prior to the day of the festival at the chamber office. They must be present at 3 p.m. downtown the day of the festival, agree to wear a special crown and cape and be available for press exposure. Prizes are being developed to present to the new royalty. Coronation and prize presentation will take place on a stage at the fall classic. Another change in the Crayfish King competition is elimination of any age restrictions to open up the contest so more individuals can compete in the new event for the festival.
