Last year, Kingsburg High School had to try and defeat two longtime volleyball powerhouses to finish on top of the Central Sequoia League.
Thanks to the addition of Central Valley Christian in the CSL, that number has jumped up to three.
The new season for the 2008 edition of the Lady Vikings begins Tuesday with a scrimmage at home against the Woodlake High School Tigers. The regular season opener for Kingsburg on Wednesday, Aug. 27 with a 6:30 p.m. home match against a North Sequoia League powerhouse, the Chowchilla High School Redskins.
A complete look at the Lady Vikings' roster will be published next week.
